Creating Memories with a Fresh Christmas Tree

The smell of pine, the outdoors, the chance to be together as a family…it all spells one thing…choosing the “perfect” Christmas tree OUTSIDE instead of “unpacking” your tree from a box. 🙂

There’s just something so special; something that will create lasting memories with your kids and create a fun way to be together even amid never ending busy schedules.

I encourage you to look up your local Christmas tree farms in your area and see what’s available near you. It’s also a great way to support a small business…which I’m all about!

Whether you go out in the woods and cut your own tree down, (think National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation) or better yet, go to an actual Christmas tree farm in search of the “perfect tree” (Some tree farms have wagon rides laden with jingle bells to take you out to explore the woods) or you may find a corner lot in the city selling fresh trees. Whatever you fancy, it’s almost guaranteed to make a memory. In creating traditions with your family, remember it doesn’t always have to be “picture perfect”. It only needs to be done consistently, every year, or every holiday, to create a lasting memory. Sometimes a ridiculous experience creates the best memories!
