Slow Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake

Is it too cold to go outside? Looking for a luscious dessert you can enjoy in front of the fireplace? I got you! This dessert comes together in minutes! Place ingredients in the slow cooker and walk away! When it’s ready, it’s oh so gooey with all of it’s chocolatey goodness! You can thank me later!

Ingredients

1 box devils food cake mix

1 box instant chocolate pudding

1 1/4 cups milk

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup avocado oil

3 eggs

1 12 oz. bag (2 cups) chocolate chips

Optional: Vanilla Ice Cream and Raspberries

Technique

  1. Spray your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, milk, oil and eggs in a mixing bowl and beat on medium for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour cake batter into slow cooker.
  4. Pour chocolate chips evenly over the top of the batter. Don’t stir.
  5. Cover with lid and cook on low for 2 1/2 hours or until top of cake is set.
  6. Scoop servings into individual ramekins or small bowls. To take it up a notch, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and garnish with a few raspberries. Total comfort food!
